Every booking on PET SCION is covered, verified, and insured. Here's how it works — and what to do if something ever goes wrong.
Every provider submits government-issued ID. Where the service requires it (grooming, training, veterinary, boarding), we verify professional licences and insurance. Verification badges appear on every profile.
High-touch services like overnight boarding and in-home sitting require Checkr background checks in Phase 2. The check covers identity, criminal records, and relevant animal-welfare history.
Every completed booking is covered. If a provider cancels last-minute, no-shows, or a service goes wrong, we refund you and help find a replacement. There's no fine print — just a support team empowered to make it right.
If an incident happens — injury, property damage, or a welfare concern — open an in-app report. Our trust team triages within 24 hours, collects evidence, and liaises with insurance where needed.
Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). Granular consent for analytics, AI training, and provider sharing. DSAR self-serve (export, delete, rectify) by Phase 2. PIPEDA compliant in Canada; GDPR-ready.
PET SCION has a zero-tolerance policy for animal cruelty or neglect. Reports are escalated immediately, providers are suspended pending review, and we work with local authorities where required.
Open the booking and tap "Report an issue". Describe what happened, upload photos or video if you have them.
Our trust team triages every report. Serious incidents (welfare, injury) are reviewed within the hour.
Refunds, replacement bookings, and — where appropriate — insurance claims are all handled by us. You focus on your pet.
