We're building PET SCION because we believe looking after a pet shouldn't mean juggling ten different apps, five separate logins, and endless phone calls.
PET SCION started with a simple question: why does booking a dog walker feel different from booking a haircut? Why do vet records live in a filing cabinet? Why does finding a sitter for a weekend require three reference checks and four texts?
Our answer is to put every kind of pet help — walking, sitting, boarding, grooming, training, insurance, and veterinary care — on one trustworthy platform. Then, on top of that, build a community, a store, AI tools, and telehealth so pet parents have genuine support every day of the week.
We're launching across Canada. We'll expand across Canada next, then into the United States. And we'll do it by earning the trust of pet parents and providers one booking at a time.
Every product decision starts with: does this make life better for the pet and the pet parent? If it doesn't, we don't build it.
Providers are our co-founders. We invest in their growth and their platform presence — because without them, PET SCION doesn't exist.
We'd rather launch slowly in Canada and get it right than rush across Canada and compromise on safety, verification, or refunds.
Our roadmap is open. Our feature requests come from users. Our engineering blog is where we share the messy in-between.
Support replies should sound like they came from a human who cares. Because they did. We don't automate compassion.
Provincial regulations, bilingual-ready infrastructure, Canadian taxes and payouts — baked in, not bolted on.
Real bios coming soon. Until then, the short version: engineers, designers, vet-tech advisors, and a small pack of four-legged quality testers.
